1. What is the community?
It’s all the people that use IDAKOOS, either to buy, recommend or both.

2. Do I pay for being a community member?
No. Being a community member is completely free.

3. Why is being part of the community important?
Because you win Idapoints, which can be used to buy items at Idakoos or to be exchanged for money.

4. What is my Idakoos family?
Your family is all your children and your children's children etc. for up to ten generations, you being the first.

5. What are Idapoints?
Idapoints are the points you accumulate by being a community member and which are obtained when your children and the other family members, including you, purchase something. Idapoints can be exchanged for credits or money.

6. How can I obtain Idapoints?
You receive Idapoints from IDAKOOS everytime any of your recommended friends (children) or your friend's friends (grandchlidren up to the 10th generation) buy products at Idakoos.

7. What can I get for my Idapoints?
You can exchange your Idapoints for credits or money.

8. What are Credits?
Credits are the currency you can use to partially or completely pay for products at Idakoos. You win credits by participating, taking advantage of our promotions or by simply obtaining them with your idapoints.

9. What is a gift card?
Gift cards are gift certificates you receive from several e-commerce enterprises. Gift cards can be exchanged for products they offer. Our gift cards can be used at well-known companies and at IDAKOOS, and they come in amounts of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1000.

10. What do I need to receive gift cards?
To receive gift cards, you need to be a member of IDAKOOS and have obtained enough Idapoints to be able receive the amount you want.

11. What do I need to receive money?
To receive money you need to be an active community member, and have the necessary quantity of Idapoints to make the exchange.

12. Why do you need my Bank Account Number?
As an IDAKOOS member you can exchange your Idapoints for money at any time. Having your Bank Account number allows us to easily transfer the money into your account.

13. Can I exchange my Idapoints for money at any time?
Yes, you can review the Idapoints you accumulated by clicking on "my account". There you can decide when and how many of your Idapoints you want to exchange for money.

14. Can I exchange my Idapoints for gift cards at any time?
Yes, you can review the Idapoints you accumulated by clicking on "my account". Here you can decide when and how many of your Idapoints you want to exchange for gift cards. Every community member has access to this.

15. Do I need to be a US citizen or resident to become a community member?
No, you don't. The community is open to everybody, wherever you are.

16. Do I need to be a US citizen or resident to exchange idapoints for money?
No, anyone can exchange their idapoints for money. However, 30% of Idapoints belonging to IDAKOOS members who are not obliged to declare their taxes in the United States will be withheld from money amounts; i.e Idapoints that have been exchanged for money. This is for legal tax purposes.

17. Will tax be withheld from the gift card amounts?
No, they won't. The tax only applies to the exchange of Idapoints for money. Gift Cards are not affected.

18. How do I invite my friends to become community members?
There are two ways: Go to "my account" and click on "tell your friends". Enter your friends' e-mail addresses and click send. Or, you can send your link www.idakoos.com/a/nickname, which is automatically created once you become a community member. You can send your link by email, or give it to people over the phone.

19. How can I see my accumulated Idapoints?
Go to "my account". There your Idapoints total and your Credits total will be displayed at the top.

20. What is the "Accumulated Total"?
It shows all the Idapoints you have earned since you became a community member.

21. What are "Available Idapoints"?
That is the number of Idapoints that are ready to be exchanged for gift cards, money or products.

22. What are "Pending Idapoints"?
These are earned Idapoints that haven't yet reached 30 days of age to become available.

23. How many members can be part of my family?
There is no limit. The more children you have, the bigger your family will be. Your family is made up of your children, your children's children and their children etc, for up to ten generations. You represent the 1st generation.

24. What do you mean by up to "ten generations"?
Every time you invite a friend to idakoos, that person becomes part of your family as your "child" when they sign up. Those children are your family's 2nd generation. When your “children” invite their own friends, those people become your “grandchildren” (3rd generation) and so on, growing to be a group of members of up to 10 levels. That is your ten-generation family.

25. What if I don't want to be a community member anymore?
Just contact Customer Service and inform us of your wish to leave the community. There they will show you the steps necessary to fulfill your wish.

26. Can I just buy at IDAKOOS even if I don't refer anyone?
Yes, you can buy at IDAKOOS, even if you don't recommend the website to anyone.

27. How do you keep my information safe?
Security systems protect your information. Likewise, when creating your account, you obtain a password, which will guarantee your security and privacy.

28. Do you share my information with others?
We don’t share information with a third party.
