Your personal information
When you buy a product, we will ask for your full name, address, e-mail, birth date and telephone number. You will also create a nickname which will be used to identify you on our website.
If you want to exchange idapoints for money, we will ask for your social security number or the ITIN. If you are not a US resident or if you don’t have to pay taxes in the USA, this information is not necessary.
IDAKOOS collects their members’ information in order to improve their purchase experience and to guarantee the proper operation of the community. We do not share information with a third party. But there are some exceptions that we will mention below. We never share information between community members.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information for our internal objectives, such as to maintain, evaluate, facilitate and improve the IDAKOOS operation. We also use it to produce, process and send your order to its destination. Finally, we use the information to provide you with a report on your orders, your family development and your accumulated idapoints.
IDAKOOS will not ask for community members'.financial information unless you want to exchange idapoints for money. We work with the main well-known payment platforms in the e-business world such as PayPal, GoogleCheckout and Amazon Payment, which will be in charge of managing your financial information.
Change of Personal Information
If you want to change your personal information or correct any mistakes, send an e-mail to privacy@idakoos.com. Contact the Customer Service area if you want to change, correct and update your details or if you, for any reason, want to stop being a member of the IDAKOOS community.
To Send an invitation
If you decide to send invitations to friends who want to visit our website, we will ask for your friends' names and e-mails. We will use that to send an e-mail inviting them to IDAKOOS.This information will be saved for you to be able to re-send the invitation and to verify the adequate functionality of this service.
Do we share personal information with a third party?
Although all the personal information that IDAKOOS receives from our members will not be shared with a third party, it is worth mentioning that all the general information of the IDAKOOS user database will be used anonymously in studies or analyses of and about the profile of our community members. Your identity will not be revealed.
Secondly, if there are investors interested in buying IDAKOOS, our members' information will be transferred once the new owner is defined. All the IDAKOOS services and its information shall be transferred as a part of the new business management. Our members will be notified by e-mail and in our website about the possible changes or control of their personal information.
We also maintain the right to reveal personal information in the event of an emergency or for legal needs, to protect or improve our Security and Privacy Policies. It is worth mentioning that if you are a vendor or a designer or anyone who has infringed copyrights, we shall reveal your personal information.
This personal information will be also shared with all the IDAKOOS workers, as well as with external suppliers or members who work with us in order to provide the best service. These IDAKOOS workers and external suppliers include for example the IDAKOOS Support Team or the mailing services we use to bring your order to its destination.
IDAKOOS requires confidentiality of all its workers and enforces that policy. Although IDAKOOS shares its policies with members and external suppliers or workers, we are not accountable for their actions and cannot bind them to our policy.
Changes of Security and Privacy Policies
Our Security and Privacy Policies can be modified. In those cases we will send an e-mail to our community members to inform them of modifications. Members should carefully review the new Security and Privacy Policies to understand the new procedures.
